Hi friends,
I  need your help as I am in a seriously urgent dilemma.  I am currently in Barcelona, and had every intention of shipping my cat, GiGi over here, but to my sad surprise, the cost of doing so is A LOT more than I originally anticipated. Gigi is currently staying with a friend in NYC who has been gracious enough to watch her up until now, but can’t keep her long term. This predicament saddens me so as I miss her dearly and only want the best for her. So, I was wondering if you know of anyone who would be able to take her in for a year, which is when I return?
I understand that it might be difficult to give Gigi up after a year as she is so easy to get attached to, and if this is the case, perhaps something can be arranged. My main focus is to keep her from being forced into a life of prostitution, living on the rough streets of NYC. No, but in all seriousness my worst fear is having to send her to the pound or for her to be harmed in any way. 
 Gigi is litter-box trained, and never damages anything. She is sweet, affectionate and a real lady who never licks herself in public. Oh and she loves having intelligent conversations about current events and gives great advice on any relationship issues you may be having (not that I know from previous experience or anything). I will pay for all transportation costs to get her to you, and even assist you with paying for food and kitty litter if need be. Gigi is up to date on all shots and has been fixed so there is no need to worry about her getting knocked-up. She also gets along with other cats quite well.
